FUNDING GOAL REACHED
Hey everyone! We're thrilled to say that we've reached our funding goal and are working towards some additional support for the project. We're extremely grateful for the support you all have already thrown behind this project and are thankful for your help spreading the word. We wrap up the project on Saturday and we're hoping to gain some more supporters for the end of the campaign, and for our campaign wrap-up Q&A.
Heckin' Good Doggos Fetch Quest Add-on
I was brought to our attention the Fetch Quests adventure book doesn't show up as an add-on in the add-on section. It looks like the add-on was created during project set-up but wasn't linked to any pledge levels. As it stands, if you would like to get the Fetch Quests adventure book as an add-on, you can increase your pledge by $20 and when the BackerKit goes out, you'll see that as an option on the survey. We apologize for the oversight, but we'll make sure you'll be able to get the book if you have your eye on it.

So Close!
Hey everyone! We're absolutely blown away by the support and love you all have thrown behind this project so far. We have a little over a week left, and our funding goal is in sight. We can't wait to get OMG Cats! into as many hands as possible. It's been a crazy few weeks for our industry, but we at Wet Ink Games keep plugging along with our writers, designers, and artists to keep making as many fun games as we can to bring a little bit of joy into the world. Thank you so much for being a part of that.
We'd love to have you join our LIVE Q&A Saturday April 19th starting at 8 PM Eastern. We'll be broadcasting live on our YouTube channel, so you can hop into the live chat and we'll answer your questions as we go. (Link below)
Mike Mumah Interview
Our Creative Director, Matthew Orr, interviewed artist Mike Mumah about his art, process, OMG Cats! and more for the most recent Wet Ink Wednesday. It's a great interview, and you can check out all of our other interviews on ourYouTube Channel. (FYI, this is also where we'll be doing the end of campaign LIVE Q&A)
Projects We're Backing
Our friend, Justin Sirois, from Severed Books has a project now for SICKEST WITCH, his RPG of Folk Horror. This book is packed full of his amazing art and uses a pretty cool system to give players a "Dark Souls"/Resource management feel. This is something not really seen in a lot of RPGs and his twist has a lot of cool mechanics. His art really makes this book sing, and there are still some opportunities to get some original artwork as part of your pledge. IT'S ALSO HIS BIRTHDAY TODAY so hop over there and pass along some birthday wishes and support.
Golden Good Girls is a game that combines two of my favorite things: Rescue Dogs and The Golden Girls. You play older dogs which are seen as "unadoptable" and get to share your golden years with some of your best friends. Getting to craft your version of your shelter and the relationships of your dogs so you can tell the sitcom tales while earning real life "treats" that you share with your table. Any time you have a game that encourages sharing snacks, I'M IN! This game is now available for preorder from our friends at Scryptid Games.
200 Backers and over 76%!

Almost there!
Hey everyone! We hope you had a great weekend and are able to get out and enjoy spring weather you can find between dodging raindrops! Over the weekend we passed 76% and 200 backers and are moving ever closer to reaching our funding goal. FYI We have 20 spots left in the deck to have your own cat illustrated in the Cat Deck, so if you're on the fence about having your furry friend included, keep an eye on those or upgrade your pledge to lock it in.
We have an interview with artist Mike Mumah lined up, and we're scheduling an interview with our other writer, Liz Chaipradikul, both of which should give some excellent insight into OMG Cats! and the game headed your way. You can find all of our video content, including past interviews with creators all over the industry on ourYouTube Channel HERE. This is also where we'll be hosting our end of campaign Q&A and campaign wrap-up on 4/19. All are welcome and we hope you are able to join.
Keep spreading the word, and don't forget to share any pics of your cats or funny cat videos with us on Instagram, Facebook, or BlueSky!
Projects We're Backing
Assemblage is a weird ecology, world building, single session RPG in a box by our friends at Scryptid Games. Brigitte and Dustin Winter are working on two adventures in the Curious Yarns adventure book, so we definitely wanted to shout out this awesome project of theirs over on BackerKit. Scryptid Games always makes unique and fun games, so this is definitely something you'll want to CHECK IT OUT.
Extra Ordinary reminds us of our game Psychic Kids, but instead of being limited to just psychic powers, this game takes it to a different level. Extra Ordinary is a rules-light tabletop role-playing game about being a kid with extraordinary powers running from perpetual danger through the ordinary world. The kids in question could be magical chosen ones, cryptid shapeshifters, genetic experiments spliced with eldritch bio-matter, or anything else. CHECK IT OUT.

Steffie de Vaan!
Hey everyone! As we keep moving forward towards our funding goal, we want to keep you in the loop with those involved in the project. Our Creative Director, Matt, sat down with writer Steffie de Vaan to discuss OMG Cats! and a bunch of other things. You can watch it on our YouTube Channel right here.
Projects We're Backing
We always like to share projects we're backing that we think are cool, especially if they are by creators who have worked with Wet Ink Games before. We'll be sharing a few throughout the campaign at the bottom of updates like this one.
Vale of the Failed and Fallen
This PBtA game by Robert Turk of Wicked Clever Games is such a cool idea. You take the role of characters who were brought to a fantasy world as kids as the chosen ones, but you were unable to live up to your destiny and you had to flee. As adults, you return to your fantasy world to try to save it again, but the echoes of your failure continue to haunt you. Art is by Sam Brieck and Amanda Kahl, two artist who have also worked with us in the past. CHECK IT OUT HERE!
John Stone: Mission Objective
Brian and Allen Manning have long been friends and supporters of Wet Ink Games. Brian did a bunch of interior art and designed the logo for our first game, Wild Skies. He also designed the Wet Ink Games company logo. Brian and his brother Allen have been writing and publishing a series of action/thriller books for years, and are funding a print run for their three latest books in their popular John Stone series. The stories are a lot of fun, and you can pick up e-pub or print copies of the books. CHECK IT OUT HERE!
OMG What a great first day! (Project We Love and Socials)

WOW!!!
You would think that the more projects we run, I would get used to the outpouring of support for the games we make. I'm always floored by how people respond and support our games, and we are always grateful. When Heckin' Good Doggos launched, we knew we had something fun on our hands, but without fail, the very first question people asked was "When are you doing a cat one?" Well, here it is, and you all have shown up in a big way!
We're over 60% in the first 24 hours, and have a long way to go, but we know OMG Cats! is going to be another fan favorite!
Like all of our campaigns, we'll be hosting a live Q&A during the last hour or so of the campaign on April 19. It will be through out YouTube Channel, and you are all invited.
Project We Love
OMG Cats! is now a Kickstarter "Project We Love" which is always rewarding to see. We love it, and we know you will too.
Social Media Shoutouts of Your Furry Friends
As we continue through the campaign, please share pics or short clips of your own cat with us and other followers through social media using #OMGCats . I always love when people share pics of their furry companions who bring them joy, and we'd love to be able to share them too.

Thank you all so much for the support and keep spreading the word!
